Week Thirteen Reflection

This week was a short one because of the Thanksgiving holidays! I worked Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday and took Thanksgiving and Friday off to spend time with my family, who came into town this week. This week, I finished and submitted the sleep hygiene guide, got through almost all the updates to the psychological safety guide, and finished the culture tabs on the industry vertical sheets. Next week, I have a team update meeting on Monday, another meeting with M. on Wednesday, and an in-person day with a summit meeting on Thursday! I will put together a presentation of a few pieces of my best work to share with all team members in person on Thursday and practice presenting the PPB information with my advisor for our big presentation the following week. I am excited and comfortable sharing and speaking about my work, and I am near the end of this fantastic internship. This work matters because I can convert my college lessons into applied real-world skills. I get to develop health solutions and resources to improve population health risks and learn/work with seasoned employees in this field.

(4.5.3) Evaluation and Research- use findings- identify recommendations for quality improvement. I fulfilled this competency and subcompetency through the evaluation and review of my sleep hygiene guide and psychological safety guide. I must use research guide recommendations to make quality improvements to the information that will be presented to our employee client audience. Recommendations and improvements after evaluating my guides were for the presentation of the research found. As a result, I created a better version of the work for my intended audience. The job done under the industry Excel tab for the culture section also fulfills this HESPA Competency and sub-competency; I was able to use my own + previous intern research on culture industry verticals to create a new culture tab, which other teammates will use to recommend improvements to future engagement plan.
